My standard fee for a 50 minute session is $220. I do have some sliding scale time slots for those with demonstrated financial need. Upon request I can provide you with an invoice/super bill that you may submit to a third party such as flexible health spending accounts or insurance. I do not accept insurance as a direct form of payment.
Cash, electronic transfers or checks accepted for payment.
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Since scheduling of an appointment involves reservation of time specifically for you, I ask for at least a 48-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Sometimes, I am able to offer an alternative time to make up the session. You will be charged for missed sessions or sessions that are canceled with less than 48-hour notice that can not be rescheduled within that week. Note that insurance carriers can not be charged for these misses.
If you have out-of-network benefits they may cover a portion of your therapy. You may want to check with your carrier to better understand your benefits.
Some questions you may want to ask your insurance carrier:
- Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient psychotherapy, 45 – 60 minutes sessions? [CPT codes 90834 or 90837]
- How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
- What is my out-of-pocket expenses and has it been met?
- What is my co-insurance? (The percentage your insurance will cover after meeting your deductible)
- How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
